All emergency community services that could potentially offer support are closed—its ‘after business hours’. Eye roll. Their recordings offer no additional resources outside of calling the police. 211 told me to call the police. All roads lead back to the police. 2/

She is a woman of color. She is presumably homeless. She needs intervention, not incarceration. This is why we need to defund the police and refund intensive community services. The police arent needed here, but alas our community has left them as the default option.
