College is expensive, but you know what is stupid? Scholarships that NO ONE applies for. I am on a scholarship committee for three scholarships. We are only giving out 1 of the 3 titled scholarships because there was ZERO applicants for the other two.

So if you want to start showing Hereford cattle we'll get you a @jjbcattleco heifer and then help you with your scholarship applications next year.

More votes for team @americanherf (or at least getting your kids involved in 4-H or FFA). The Hereford Youth Foundation gave away more than $180,000 in #scholarships last year to 28 kids on a national level. That is BIG money. #agtwitter

p.s. if you ARE going to apply for scholarships make sure someone PROOFREADS your work. I make mistakes on here all the time, but that is a pretty quick mark on your application if you have grammatical errors or missing pieces of the applications. #agtwitter
