I do think it’s worth mentioning in each conversation about this bad company that the fact that they are one of the only brands that makes attractive looks for plus size women is an issue! I really don’t blame any big person for buying their shit bc it can actually fit us

I’m not proud of it but I totally get why I consistently ordered clothes from the only brand that frames big women as sexy and sells them sexy clothes and not dumb fucking tunics that nobody wants

There is a special joy in reading the Fashion Nova reviews of each item where plus size women list their height and weight and measurements and talk about the fit and how much they love the look on them and on their body, how good they feel/ look.

I just think until the industry sheds this ongoing fatphobia and stops leaving fast fashion as the only affordable option for ppl who like to dress themselves in something other than peplum and jeggings, we’ll be stuck with FN and other toxic brands

“Sustainable” brands that only go up to size 12 or even smaller are part of the problem, as well as the styles they offer in their plus size section. Fucking stupid.

It’s classist, fatphobic, and ugly. If only skinny rich influencer types can fit into your organic jeans, you’re not doing anything at all tbh
