Tik Tok being banned is a perfect example of why you should own your own website.

The future is digital.

Owning a website is like buying digital real estate. The more you grow, the more valuable it becomes.

Most of all, it can‘t be taken away from you. You‘re the boss.
This past year, we’ve seen...

Famous influencers + creators get demonitized or suspended from platforms like YouTube, Twitter, & IG.

These platforms come with a price.

There‘s always the risk of having your account shut down or suspended, which can hurt your brand/business.
If you want to build a brand:

• Make a website
• Create original content you own
• Start a mailing list
• Buuld relationships through a good reputation, not clout or viral tactics

Relying solely on social media companies is a bad idea.

Think long-term.
The money will come.
Every big brand owns their audience.

By having having emails, phone numbers, and subscribers, you learn who your true supporters are.

Then, you can talk to them directly & offer exclusive products or services.

This is how you build a real, organic following.
A little known fact about me is that I’ve built brands anonymously & sold them. Building a brand starts with establishing a personal connection.

Often times people want to build something big without knowing *why* their audience should feel connected.
Lastly, when building a brand there is 1 important rule to remember:

You’re never selling yourself or a product. You’re selling a feeling.

The more people associate you with good feelings, the more doors will open for you.

Most people aren’t logical, but everyone is emotional.
