taki, sunoo, and niki all have grey eyebags and they look visibly distressed. they as well as the 13 others grounders have been on edge for the past 6+ weeks waiting to find out their fates that will determine the rest of their lives+

it breaks my heart to see the visible difference in health between the grounders & i-landers. while the i-landers had interviews and glowy smiles, none of the grounders looked happy. we don’t have to see the eyebags to know that all the grounders are going through extreme stress+

so many ppl like the unique concept of i-land where the trainees vote each other out and the two level system. but omg how stressful would it be to actually be a part of it? it inherently encourages friends to become competitors and an individualistic self-preserving mindset+

so not only have the grounders had to go through 6 weeks of this system while also losing hope for their dreams while being stuck in the ground, but they had to wait so long for the results. they haven’t had a break from this high-stress environment+

this thread has gotten some attention so I just wanted to add that this is just my criticism of what I have seen about the show through the six episodes as well as public tweets from the fandom community and is not intended to be slander about anyone.
