The whole @TheEllenShow 'controversy' has been really... creepy to watch unfold.
A few months ago, there were whispers that Ellen pissed off the 'wrong person' and wheels were set in motion.
Suddenly, well timed-out/spaced-out stories critical of her emerged. (cont)

Yet, if you read closely, none was able to actually allege any wrongdoing by Ellen, much less proven. Just a lot implication of VAGUE misconduct but even that was very nebulous. (cont)

Like a well-orchestrated attack, out of nowhere the rumors and stories became "Gosh, guess it's time to replace her." Repeat something enough and people accept is as reality.

Now the ever-loathsome Page Six is running articles about who her "replacement" will be.

This is all very, very strange because Ellen hasn't actually been accused of anything specific, much less credibly, other than "some people said she isn't nice."
Anyway, I don't have a dog in this fight but it just stuck out at me as... weird.
