I’ve been sending friends postcards because I got a 100 postcard set for a white elephant gift exchange and need to use them somehow.
The amount of “were you trying to make me cry” texts I have received is stunning.

I say this because there’s a HUGE lack of a culture of gratitude in the US, and just acknowledging someone and that they’re trying their best in a really fucked up world. Quit trying to be productive when we are experiencing trauma and allow yourself to breathe and rest.
For folks who were curious, I ask my friends their fav color and address, then draw their horoscope sign a bonus gift. The second batch (first photo) was created during @KatVellos’ Connection Club today!

Also it is so amusing to me on how people present their favorite colors:
Non-designers: “like...purplish” , “idk green?”, “idk lol”
Designers: “Azure blue and hunter green!”; “ #FFFFFF” or sends me photos of Pantone squares not knowing they’re getting a Pantone postcard
