As a 10 he must be good at linking up play with other players and this is something he does not struggle with at all. He has good link up play which sometimes can make it appealing for coaches to use him as a center forward to link the midfield and attack smoothly.
A interesting thing about the Italian is that he is not someone who spams shots outside the box. In fact he clearly has a preference of taking his shots inside the area. He has a powerful shot on him though and I expect him to show that more often in the coming seasons
Zaniolo is not a lazy attacker and does put in a shift back in defence. He also puts in energy in pressing at the attacking front
Due to his height he will always be a threat on dead balls. He has already showed he can score with his head and it is good to know he uses his body to the limit
