Before Talking About the Feet we need to talk about those Awesome looking shoes he& #39;s wearing. The coloring and the shading on the shoes tells us that it& #39;s a high-grade premium genuine Leather Shoe with Yellow Borders. The Color of Leather indicates his strength and perserverence-
That lies in his actions as we see throughout the story. Buggy is a misunderstood Character. Most ppl get an impression based off his Clownish look but I believe that the true impression of buggy lies in his shoes. We can see oda stressing on this point throughout the Manga.
Buggy& #39;s Devil Fruit plays an important role in this too. When buggy turns into a buggy car using his devil fruit you can clearly see that his feet are where the engine is. So if we are going by visual evidence it& #39;s clear that Buggy& #39;s Feet is an infinite source of energy.
This is very similar to ace using his fire powered motor boat. It baffles me how ppl are ignoring that buggy can use his feet to create energy that is capable of making a vehicle move. So this means that buggy is at least equal to ace in terms of strength.
The scale of powerscaling now changes since buggy is added to the mix. We know that ace is second commander which makes buggy atleast commander level. Now it brings the question of, if buggy was commander level, how could pre-timeskip luffy beat him. Here& #39;s the simple answer-
Buggy just pretended to lose. Before telling why, I need to talk about the treasure itself, the one piece. Where is the one piece. There are two things that we haven& #39;t seen at all in one piece. That is the treasure itself and Buggy& #39;s Feet. So we can come to conclusion that-
Buggy& #39;s Feet itself is the one piece. So buggy ran so that the Manga could be atleast run for 20 years. The next time we see buggy is Impel down and here we see that buggy has different shoes. They are white prisoner shoes. Which means that the one piece lies inside-
Buggy& #39;s original Leather shoes.
