Pretty much recovered now from a dose of the Covids - including the Carrie/Misery comeback it tends to double back with.

Had it pretty mild, but still: would not recommend. Do not catch. Today's been alright, but the fatigue is real. 4/10.
The worst thing was - I was wandering around with it for a while with symptoms that weren't really on Boris' Big List.

I had the faintest irritation in my throat, and once or twice a day cleared it with the most pathetic internal 'tiger chuff' feeling.
I can see why 'pathetic internal tiger chuff feeling' isn't on Dom's whiteboard - but I was genuinely staggered as to how easy to miss the early symptoms are.

Thankfully my hit ratio of 'known contaminated friends and family' is currently resting at zero. But that's blind luck.
The thing to look out for is a vague feeling that what you're experiencing is different to normal cold stuff.

You *know* somehow, but it's all too easy to dismiss it. Ultimately you've had normal colds a million times, so when your brain says 'I wonder...' then get a check.
I must also say that, despite the shit hurled at it, the UK testing delivery, results provision, and test and trace is very impressive from an end user perspective. It came quick, instructions were clear and I had results within 36 hours iirc.
Anyway - after that it was a waiting game. Waiting to see which of the symptoms turned up, and how far and how deep they would go.

Got a bit more chesty at the 10 day mark and got a bit worried amidst all the coughing and spluttering but thankfully that was the worst it got.
