I want to talk about how living with strict parents is an anxiety filled experience and how all the time, when you come home late after being out, there is that sense of anxiety because you have to explain your whereabouts and you just dont wanna come back home bec of it

Having friends is so tough growing up in a strict household. You are constantly tense and scared to invite friends into your space.

Your parents suddenly act cool but you are weirded out because you know their strict personas. You are not comfortable around them also.

Now they have created this gap and now you only see them as figures of authority. You grow up with that fear. Then uit die blou, they start acting like your bestie and wanna invite themselves into your life as if they didnt spend so much of your life making living so hard

Man, I love my parents because they have been there for me and they have done alot but they're not the best and just made living with them a nightmare.

I couldnt wait to move out! I was unhappy. In fact, living with them now makes me unhappy. Im used to it tho but fuck man..
