Do NOT buy a used car from @evanshalshawuk: A thread.

I bought a used car from them in 2018 which broke down after 5 days. Where they left me stranded at the roadside in a dangerous unlit spot and they told me I wasn't in their system yet as it took a week to put me on.
Thankfully, I got picked up and managed to get home and leave the vehicle at the roadside. The following day Evans Halshaw got someone out to me to get it towed to an Evans Halshaw garage in Mansfield. They fixed the car and said it was to do with the ignition coil multipack.
Bringing it forward to 5 days ago when I broke down at the roadside. The AA came and they got the car to start somehow though they couldn't work out why. Then the following day I break down again. The AA man comes out again.
Upon closer inspection it turns out that back in that 'repair' they did in 2018 they had left wires completely exposed and the part was being held in place via cable ties (I have spoken to a few car manufacturers and this is extremely dangerous according to all of them).
To break it down simply if I had some sort of fuel leakage that met an exposed wire my car could have caught fire and/or exploded with me and whomever I had in the vehicle with me inside of it. Needless to say I was absolutely fuming to say the least.
So, I've gathered as much evidence as I can and contacted Trading standards and Citizens Consumer Advice for my rights and I go to Evans Halshaw to formally complain. At this stage all I want is my car fixed. I was expecting it to be 'our mistake we'll fix it'. NOPE.
I've been passed around on the phone to several different people who have all passed it on to a different department and/or person. Until finally I get on the phone with a very understanding man named David who said he would seek advice and call me back on Monday.
Monday has come around and I get no call, I had to ring in to be told that he was sick and then another person said his wife was sick and I'm still no further on to getting this sorted out.
I JUST WANT MY CAR FIXED AND TO BE COMPENSATED FOR THE FACT THAT YOUR MECHANICS HAVE LEFT ME IN A CAR THAT COULD HAVE LITERALLY BLOWN UP. I'M SICK OF BEING PASSED AROUND AND HAVING MY ENQUIRY BE CONSTANTLY DELAYED.
This thread doesn't even cover the time evans halshaw tried to swindle me out of nearly 700 quid when I had it MOT'd there when WeOnlyMOT (top company, thoroughly recommend) said there was literally one thing wrong with it which cost me 200 quid.
All in all these people will give you a car that breaks down immediatly as soon as you buy it and then 'fix' it in a way that leaves it lethal and then pass you around on the phone until your blue in the face. My car is still unsafe and they have still not offered to fix it.
