I miss the early 2010s Philly media scene where everyone had blogs.

The blog I miss most, though, is "Philly Decline" a one-of-a-kind right wing blog about Philadelphia city council and Philly media.

Written by a guy named Aaron, it started out as a Philadelphia "Examiner" site. The owner/writer had an online radio show and I think was a professional wrestler.

Anyway, he once got called out by the Northeast Times and recorded a video of himself taunting the newspaper as his professional wrestling gimmick.

I remember he said (something like): "I wouldn't even use the Northeast Times to pick up dog shit -- because you can't pick up dog shit with dog shit."

Not sure why I thought of that just now. But I guess I've always thought that was pretty good as far as insults go.
