This critique of the CPC is something I've noticed a lot, and I actually agree with it.

If the CPC/Chinese state-funded media was good at propoganda, it would be better at countering the majority of English scaremongering, noise & propoganda so many of us keep seeing on socials. https://twitter.com/MaitreyaBhakal/status/1290287607503446016
Another example of how bad Chinese propoganda actually is. So bad that regular people speak up & face waves of "wumao"/"CPC shill"/"tankie" abuse for simply saying the civilisation-state calling itself the Middle Country & its peoples are allowed to exist.
Of course, this does not negate the genuine harm caused by these yellow peril narratives that have existed since 1800s. As the reason why I speak up is because Sinophobia has real impact on a non-Mainland Chinese people, like me - as per link in bio

Also, if they wanted to go the non-aggression route, they could just say something like this

"I thought we were all supposed to be learning from the leaders of the free world! Does this mean the 'freedom' you've been preaching doesn't actually exist?đŸ˜±" https://twitter.com/zhang_heqing/status/1289567292645244928?s=20
Still, I believe that everything that is happening now is a lesson in collective evolution. By overcoming each lesson, more ancestral wisdom is refined, built upon, and improved.
Repeated reminder that I am personally not pro- or anti- the CPC. I believe all political parties must be improved & I look at intentions & outcomes
I speak as someone anti-yellow-peril, anti-Sinophobic, and as a survivor of Sinophobic hate crime, focused on thriving in this life
The question then is, do we want PRC state propoganda to become so good we cannot recognise it?

Because that is exactly what the overwhelming amount of ridiculous Sinophobic/YP content in the English-speaking world is unknowingly training the CPC to do. https://twitter.com/kevino_is_me/status/1290354506274758657?s=20
