i am at work and since i like doing everything but my actual job here is a thread i created specifically to stir the pot with Christians. take what i say with a damn grain of salt ok
Modern Christianity was invented(to an extent) by emperor Constantine. He created It for political purposes based on whats called the myth or Mirtha. Who was mirtha? mirtha was a Persian savior god who was born on December 25 to a virgin.
Mirtha was capable of performing miracles, he was later crucified The first written mention of the Vedic Mirtha dates to 1400 bc. His worship spread to Persia and, after the defeat of the Persians by Alexander the Great, throughout the Hellenic world
now that we have a background on what the Persian/indo-Arian myth was that jesus was *potentially* created from lets look at the political purposes for why constantine needed to create this religion.
during the reign of the roman empire Christianity slowly began to transition into the main religion of the Romans. now - Constatine didnt *invented* it, just drastically changed what it means to even be Christian.
however, the Christianity that did exist before the roman empire was NOT the Christianity that is used and practiced today. Many scholars believe Constantine’s conversion was a turning point in Christian history
he ruled the Roman Empire as sole emperor (mostly) and his main objective was to gain unanimous approval and submission to his authority from all classes,
because of this objective, he therefore chose Christianity to conduct his political propaganda, believing that it was the most appropriate religion that could fit with the Imperial cult
shortly after he allegedly converted to Christianity (he was actually a pagan before! and there no proof that he actually converted or if it was just a political stunt) the era of State church of the Roman Empire launched
According to Hans Pohlsander, Professor Emeritus of History at the University at Albany, Constantine's conversion was just another instrument of realpolitik in his hands meant to serve his political interest in keeping the Empire united under his control:
The prevailing spirit of Constantine's government was one of conservatorism. His conversion to and support of Christianity produced fewer innovations than one might have expected; indeed they served an entirely conservative end, the preservation and continuation of the Empire
OKAY so ur thinking hm what about before the Roman empire and before Constantine co-oped this religion to use as a political tool - what was it then? was it the Christianity we know today? who practiced? WHERE did it come from?
lets start by looking at the first documentation of the first persecuted Christians. it was in AD 64, when, as reported by the Roman historian Tacitus, Emperor Nero attempted to blame Christians for the Great Fire of Rome
so - persecution. Christians sporadic and localized suffering for like 2 centuries. Their refusal to participate in the Imperial cult was considered an act of treason and was thus punishable by execution. (super shitty! I can acknowledge that!)
part of these persecutions the empire murdered them, burned their homes, AND burned churches, sanctuaries, burned and destroyed religious works and books etc…
this all officially ended in April 311, when Galerius, senior emperor of the Tetrarchy, issued an edict of toleration, which granted Christians the right to practice their religion, though it did not restore any property to them i.e. religious writings..
apologize for jumping around in time, but now lets look even farther back, before these persecutions began. to do this we need to first understand how early Christians viewed their identity, church, leadership and philosophy of
Part 1: the church its self
"It was catholic. Let that be deemed a proper Eucharist, which is either by the bishop, or by one to whom he has entrusted it. Wherever the bishop shall appear, there let the multitude -

"[of the people] also be; even as, wherever Jesus Christ is, there is the Catholic Church"
1A)The church had a 3 fold structure of unit and leadership. Bishop, presbytery, deacons. "let no man do anything connected with the church without the bishop"

2A) There is unity through episcopal authority and schism is evil "…so that you obey the bishop and the presbytery with an undivided mind" For where there is division and wrath, God does not dwell.
this goes on to say that those who do not repent do not get gods forgiveness (key fact into why constatine did not get baptized until he was on his death bed, he did not want to do it to early and cancel out a forgivness that would be revoked by his sinning as emperor)
3A) Sacred Tradition is authoritative (for the sake of time ill skip the next couple of biblical quotes)
4A) Worship is liturgical
5A) There is Apostolic Succession

ts important to note and I should have earlier most early Christians were jewish converts. so in earlyhood Christianity was quite passive as opposed to post roman which forced eradication of what opposed ..this thread is going onso much longer that I expected
Roman Chrisitanity is a sham and a deception of TRUE Christian doctrines. noone truly knows where the original doctrines come from. many scholars think that the prophet peter wrote them, but what we read now are not the originals words. those have been lost time& mis translated
Why else would this Empire and it's church proclaim that all the writings of the Apostles had been destroyed if they were actual representatives of Christ. by the 3rd century a.d. these peoples had been lead by the nose for around 1000 years by many a tyrant as Emperor,
