I am shocked to discover that many Canadians not only do not understand the ideological differences between "Conservative" and "Liberal" but they believe nothing will change in Canada as a result of a changed government.

What a giant fail.

Let's talk about that. There's a lot of smart folks on either side.

Identify yourself as either right/center right or left/center left.

What concerns you the most about "the other side". Use real things, not extrapolations. Like "abortion" not "they want to control women".

I'm center/left on most things, centre right on a few.

My single largest concern with a conservative government is that they seem not to have moved their needle on economic theory since the 1800s. They have failed to understand how social policy affects economic policy.
