The disneyland malfunction story that sticks with me above all else was the christmas season Small World stopped for ~40 minutes, BUT ALSO unbeknownst to the ride ops the intercom system inside the building was broken, so everybody in the ride thought they were abandoned by god

A family came to city hall describing how people were crying and peeing themselves and jumping out of the boats, running out exits that let out backstage and panicking, and "it's christmas so the dolls are singing jingle bells so, you know, it's worse."

I called over to small world like "hey, so, I'm getting a crazy story from some guests" and the lead was just flatly like "it's all true"
