How to be a “ITK” transfer account on Twitter (A THREAD)
Step No.1 - Username
Every good account needs a great username. If you’re planning on only reporting transfer talk from one particular team, consider making your username include the clubs initials (i.e AFC, CFC). It doesn’t really matter what you put after that (1/2)
,so just flick to a random page on a dictionary and find a word that suits.
Step No.2 - Bio
Now that you have a great username, you need to tell your potential followers what your account is about. All you need to do here is tell your followers that you are “in the know” and have links within the club, even though we all know you don’t.
Step No.3 - Profile Picture
We now have a great bio, but we need people to click on our account. This is where are profile picture comes in to play. For this, we will just get a picture of whatever the second word in our name is, and write our clubs initials over it. (1/2)
You don’t need any fancy editing software, just use the text on snapchat.
Step No.4 - Content
You have now gained some traction to your account by people clicking on your beautiful Profile picture and by them reading your bio, they are excited for future posts from you. You should post about transfer rumours like Havertz, Sancho and Partey and (1/2)
say things people already know. Saying things such as ‘the *insert players here* wants to move to the club’ or ‘the club are a step closer to singing *insert player here*’, is a great idea.
Step No.5 - Source
People are eventually going to question your credibility and ask for your sources, which of course, we don’t have. Anybody asking for a source should either be blocked or just reply saying ‘trust me fam’. This trick is bound to make people trust you again.
Step No.6 - Fame
You are now considered a reliable football transfer source that people respect highly. Well done
