Doing a lot of a last ditch tackling the 27 year old also recorded 5 clearances per 90 which is showing he knows when to get rid of the ball and not mess around.
Sevilla have also kept 17 clean sheets this season- 15 coming from when Carlos has started.

Now-Distrobution.
Carlos has been apart of a possession heavy side and has impressive passing stats. I’ve compared him with our best ball playing centre half Luiz.

As you can see from these stats Carlos is an extremely strong distributer.
As well as solid defensive numbers throughout the season the 27 year old looks very well rounded in his overall game at center half.

Carlos has a 1.84m height which is around exactly 6 foot. Him next to Saliba for example would be a nice combination of height.
Carlos has won 68% of his aerial duels this season coming out with 2.8 aerial wins this season per90.

In conclusion i’d rate Carlos as an 8/10 centre half. With a lot of experience at the age of 27 and playing of the left side of the back line this season. Although right footed he looks comfortable on the left and would fit straight in.
With transfermarkt stating he has a 45 million market valuation and a 65 million release clause. I can’t see how we’d be able to fund that however he is my first choice centre back for our transfer window.
Having just joined Sevilla this season aswell I can see him costing around 50 million. I think anything around 45 million is a quality deal for a quality centre half.
