last year of college i find out that the school mixes the recycling in with the trash anyway which goes to show that our individual choices to be more sustainable are quite literally defined and limited by the institutions and economic systems we have in place
if people are being overworked and already suffer from exhaustion and exploitation, what are the chances that they’re gonna take up composting and enact zero-waste?? being vocal about the environment also means being vocal about workers’ rights, among many other things!!
