I am trying to teach Lima to climb on top of his house.
mainly by scattering kibbles up there
Lima wants the food but isn’t sure how to reach it
making progress
”You can do it, buddy! Climb on up there!”
But there’s one problem.
Flame hears me encouraging Lima and wants to show him how it’s done... and then she decides the food is for her.
That’s okay. They can share, right?
Flame doesn’t want to share
FLAME if you can’t share, you don’t get to hang out. That’s the rule. This is Lima’s terrain. Flame has to go back to the porch.
But weirdly, I think Lima found the whole thing empowering. If Flame can get up there, so can he! And he’s gotta defend his kibbles.

He gets *almost* up a few times, like this, and then flops back down.
I decide to give Lima some space, so he doesn’t feel self-conscious. Time to scratch some other chins.
Leap chin
Refried gets a butt scratch
Every now and then I peek back at Lima. He’s working some stuff out.
better pet Spring for a while
and then I look back
and just like that, Lima’s got it!
Even more proof that this boy can do anything he puts his mind to.

The end.
