My opponent is supposed to represent the people of Highlands Ranch, but she doesn’t represent us. It’s time to #FireLoraThomas
April 16, 2019: chaos in the elementary courtyard. Our children are not allowed to walk home. Why? An armed person in mental health crisis is at large.

April 17, 2019: On a day when many parents at that very luncheon scrambled to get childcare, as hundreds of thousands of children were not learning in school, my opponent lectures about the “constitutional right” of people in mental health crisis to retain their weapons.
ERPO - Extreme Risk Protection Order - says that people who are experiencing a mental health crisis can have their guns temporarily removed. Douglas County @SheriffSpurlock championed ERPO after he lost a deputy to an armed person in mental health crisis.
I supported ERPO, and I support @SheriffSpurlock - unlike my opponent.
I sat in the CO Senate gallery on March 28, 2019 and watched ERPO pass. ERPO is broadly popular. Douglas County polling showed ERPO to have majority support.

Why does my opponent support the “constitutional right” of people in mental health crisis to be armed, but not the rights of children to attend safe schools? It’s time to #FireLoraThomas - she doesn’t represent Highlands Ranch. #MomsDemand #ExpectUs #copolitics #Mentalhealth
