please break that chain of thought of how the Western world in the best at everything (whether it be art, music, science, engineering, anything). Because I feel like a lot of us grew up idolizing the west and so it’s embedded in us that we will never be as successful

it’s really taken me this long to finally accept this and i find it upsetting. just because they’re not working for vogue or attending nyfw or working with NASA, doesn’t mean they aren’t talented or smart. If anything they’re probably better but no one wants to give them a chance

Also side note, don’t let a bunch of racists who think we can’t even speak English ever make you think you’re less than them just cuz you can’t be in California with your start up business
