People like to talk about disparities in police shootings. Black people make up 13% of the population but accounted for 25% of those killed by police in 2019. Racism! No.

Even if we took every black unarmed shooting away (14), that percentage would STILL be 24%.

If we took ALL unarmed shootings away of all races (55), the % of black people killed goes back to 25%.

Additionally, out of all black people killed, only 5.6% were unarmed. Out of all white people killed, 6.2% were unarmed

So, in the vast, vast majority of situations where suspects of any race are killed by police, they are armed and dangerous. And not only that, but white suspects were actually more likely to be unarmed than black suspects

How can you possibly claim racial bias and explain this?

Black Lives Matter is entirely focuses on reducing unarmed killings by police. But these stats show that even if they DO manage to get rid of every single unarmed killing (unarmed does not mean not dangerous, by the way), it will have virtually zero effect on the overall numbers.

And yet BLM considers this to be of primary importance, all while the majority of these scumbags who eventually get killed by police have been slaughtering other black people, including children, in these communities or would have most certainly gone on to do so at some point.

It may be the most egregious misuse of resources I've ever seen. It's like a doctor focusing solely on your hangnail and ignoring the cancer raging throughout your body. It's absolute insanity.

We need to focus on the actual problems:

Hood culture and street violence.
