The Law of Attraction states that you will attract into your life whatever you focus on most

Focus on the good in your life, you will attract more good into your life

Focus on the bad in your life, you will attract more bad into your life
The key is to manifest good thoughts

And counter bad thoughts

Notice how I didn’t say ELIMINATE bad thoughts

That would be impossible

Focus on recognizing when you have bad thoughts

And finding a way to mentally respond in a positive or favorable manner
In order to do this, you’ll need to follow two basic rules

1) Control what you can control

2) Let go of what you can’t control

Easier said than done?

Yes, but with a little practice, your mind will start to pick up on patterns of thought

And start doing the work for you
Controlling what you can control boils down into optimizing your personal wellbeing

Simple ways to do this are through:

- Exercise
- Proper Nutrition
- Adequate Sleep

These are often neglected
When you neglect the simple ways of optimizing your personal wellbeing, you expose yourself to a higher risk of the following issues:

- Depression
- Anxiety
- Addiction
- Stress
- Aging

These are all problems many people face that are often within their control
By no means are exercise, nutrition, and sleep a “one size fits all” solution

But if you aren’t trying these natural remedies, you are choosing to accept the issues into your life

Rather than minimize them within your control
Once you’ve optimized your personal wellbeing

You’ve controlled what you can control about your own body

Next, you need to consider your surroundings, or external factors

The following external factors can also be controlled (to an extent)
1) Consume positive material

People consume material all throughout each day

- Daily News
- TV Shows
- Social Media
- Radio

All common examples

But usually no second thought is given to any of the consumption habits associated with them
1) Consume positive material (cont.)

If you are constantly hearing or seeing negative material throughout the day

Your mind will become accustomed to it

And begin to favor negative thoughts over positive thoughts

Curate your consumption methods accordingly
2) Surround yourself with positive influences

When you hangout with people on a regular basis

Your mindsets begin to sync with each other

And you start to think similarly
2) Surround yourself with positive influences (cont.)

This leads to the popular theory:

“Your income will be the average of the five people you hang out with most”

You can take it a step further and replace “income” with anything (ambition, cleanliness, positivity, etc.)
2) Surround yourself with positive influences (cont.)

Evaluate who you spend your time with most

And decide if that’s someone you hope to be like

If not, it’s time to face a harsh truth

They are likely holding you back

3) Spend time in nature

Some of the most underrated natural medicines are fresh air and vitamin D

Go for walks, hikes, bike rides, or simply just sit on a bench in a park

See the beauty of the natural world around you
Letting go of what you can’t control is just as important as controlling what you can

Everyone has bad days

Everyone has bad things happen to them

Everyone is put in a situation they’d rather not be in, but have no choice

The key is how you react to what you cannot control
When life hands you a tough situation, and there’s nothing you can do about it, you will react one of two ways:

- Sulk and remain in the moment
- Accept it and move on
Sulking will get you nowhere

Sometimes it’s inevitable that you need to spend time grieving in tragic circumstances

Other times, there’s no sense in grieving at all

Either way, the faster you decide to stop grieving, the faster your mind can shift its focus elsewhere
You can’t always control the cards you are dealt

But you can always control how you choose to play them

Rather than blaming “life” for giving you a tough hand to play, focus your energy on your reaction to what you were dealt

Your excuses won’t get you far at all
The last easy way to train your mind to subconsciously act in your advantage

Is to practice being grateful

Despite whatever problems you may have in life

There is always plenty to be grateful for
Compare your life to those who sadly don’t have:

- Food
- Clean water
- Housing
- Family
- Internet

Or countless other privileges we take for granted

Now imagine these people hearing you complain about your problems

Hopefully this gives you some valuable perspective
Learn to appreciate the positives in your life

People often worry about bad things more than they appreciate good things (e.g. health, weather, etc.)

Recognize how much you have to be grateful for, and make it a habit to do so each day
Start taking action on the items from this thread

Your mind can be trained like a muscle

What it thinks, it will attract

Start recognizing what you think about most

Continue to manifest positive thoughts, and react accordingly to negative thoughts
