My favourite classic rap albums from the 90s a thread:
Starting off in 1990 is cubes Amerikkas most wanted. For me this is such a great album and showed how well cube can be as a lyricist and especially a storyteller.
Favourite song is a gangsta's fairytale which shows his storytelling in a fun and unique way
Now in 1992 we go to a absolute classic that everyone who has or hasnt heard 90s hiphop has to listen to. This showed how well dre production really is and brought snoop dogg to public eyes with classics like Nuthin' But a G thang bitches aint shit.
Favourite song:Rat-tat-tat-tat
This album is a 10 of mine and each member of wu tang is incredible in their own way. The production is great and by was done by the legend RZA.There is so many great songs but the most noticeable ones would be C.R.E.A.M and protect ya neck
Favourite song: clan in da front
This is another album like the rest i suggest you need to listen if you havent heard before. This album alone shows nas is one of the best lyricist in hiphop. This is coming from someone who has only heard this and it was written. favourite song: it aint hard to tell
