Shit, guys, he’s got me.

Never once have I expressed love for any other female character.

Nor have I ever read a comic.

Damn, imagine getting got this hard.

What will I ever do? 🙄 https://twitter.com/belet_seri/status/1290272864864591873
Fun Fact: I did not actively read comics before 2013, only scattered issues of Spider-Man, The Death of Superman, and a few Marvel events.

Seeing Captain Marvel’s costume in 2013 was legitimately my first exposure to a female hero in a way that was set at the forefront
Before that, most female heroes I saw were background or supporting characters, wearing crop tops and wedgie suits. It was the Captain Marvel poster that first made me realize that there was a place for female characters in the medium beyond what I had previously seen
And then, from THERE, after finally witnessing something that I thought was interesting, I actively sought them. Crazy how you don’t really give a damn about something until someone seems to give a damn in return 🤷🏻‍♀️

In my limited experience, no one had seemed to give a damn—
—about female characters. So they frankly didn’t interest me as much.

Never said her costume was the ONLY one since you apparently STILL can’t read, I said hers was the first that I saw. But sure, pop off on whatever the hell you think that was.
Also, **** you.

Captain Marvel rules

If we’re just gonna throw out subjective opinions like they’re facts now, might as well make it mine 🤷🏻‍♀️
And hey, to anyone finding this thread now, I’m going to leave it up because I still think it makes a point about how we view certain characters, but don’t go after the OP, please. Things got heated but they’re cool now so please, let’s leave it be.
