Today is launch day for @CraqueStats website. You can find the homepage by visiting http://www.craquestats.com

We would like to give you a little tour of the side using this thread.

[Webtour Thread – 1 of 18] #CraqueStatsLaunch
Articles regarding the latest news in football, such as the announcement of Ferran Torres agreeing to a move to Manchester City, can be found here. https://craquestats.com/category/news/
Craque Stats isn’t a news site. Instead, the ‘News’ content will be us attempting to provide our own insight on selected pieces of recent news in the world of football.

[Webtour Thread – 2 of 18] #CraqueStatsLaunch
CraqueStats will provide ‘Quick Read’ articles. These will typically be some of our visuals with a few lines of text, if any, highlighting particular points of interest in the data.

[Webtour Thread – 3 of 18] #CraqueStatsLaunch
Our ‘In-Depth’ section of articles. These are typically created using multiple visuals as we attempt to provide more depth to a talking point or address a topic from multiple angles.

[Webtour Thread – 4 of 18] #CraqueStatsLaunch
Our ‘Featured Articles’ section is essentially the pieces we have invested the most time into putting together. They are similar to the ‘In-Depth’ articles but usually have even more depth (and words!).

[Webtour Thread – 5 of 18] #CraqueStatsLaunch
Our ‘Filtered Articles’ section is where to visit if you want to read anything that relates to a specific competition, club, manager, player or national team.
All of the 'types' of articles already listed above can be found by navigating through the ‘Filtered Articles’ section.
Whether it is a ‘Quick Read’ or a piece of ‘In-Depth Analysis’. The type of article is indicated by the orange box above the title.

[Webtour Thread – 6 of 18] #CraqueStatsLaunch
Our ‘Guest Articles’ section is currently empty. We plan to offer this space to any writers who want a place to display their writing to the world.
For now, we have simply included this for completeness.

Once the site is properly up and running and we are in a position to use this section, we will announce something on @craquestats.
‘Glossary’ of terms used throughout the site. There is a lot of jargon when it comes to tactical and statistical analysis of football. We aim to help you cut through it all here. This will fill up over time.

[Webtour Thread – 8 of 18] #CraqueStatsLaunch
‘About Us’. No surprises here really. This is the section of the site where we explain our journey to this moment right here. It also includes details of those we have collaborated with in the past and a form to contact us. https://craquestats.com/about-us/
The contact us form will come in particularly handy when you find lots of jargon all over the site that isn't in the Glossary yet. Or if you would like an in-depth explanation of any of the charts we use.

‘Patreon’. Here we thank our Patrons for literally making this happen. The site isn’t making money, and maybe never will. So, we rely on them entirely to keep things going and help us with expansion plans.

The coming month will probably be about establishing the website properly and making sure everything works as should be. I also need to fill it up with plenty of new content too.
After that, a CraqueStats (and a CraicStats?) podcast becomes our next priority. Watch this space!!!
So, what can we expect from @craquestats official website? With the transfer window open and lots of gossip being thrown around, we will try to analyse some of the most talked-about gossip.
We will also analyse certain trends with players & teams to offer some insight. Such as why Antoine Griezmann was on the decline long before his big-money move to Barcelona, making his deal a head-scratcher.

That concludes the Craque Stats tour.

We ask that you now depart this thread using the nearest exit and adhere to social distancing guidelines while doing so. Thank you and have a nice day.
