I’m still upset that ppl said it was weird that our response to police brutality was buying from black owned businesses. No bruh. Buying from BOBs was a response to these white companies “standing with us” while the diversity at their companies say otherwise

It was a response to them mocking us with the “we are with you” messages they were just then put out, when this shit has been going on for decades. It was showing them that we are aware of the strength of the black dollar
