#GBHockey Advanced Coaching Programme - Cohort 3 - now complete. A thread of thanks! (1/10)
First up: @dannynewcombe - yes he wears a baseball cap and pretends he's still 19, but I still remember when he showed me 'another way' of coaching, back in a seminar room in Brookes. Always open to having me along to sessions, and chatting hockey over a beer - top bloke.
Next: She's not on Twitter - but my 'housemate' Harriett. Totally supportive through the ACP process, in particular the pain that was making the application video (as a professional videographer, being in front of the camera was terrifying). Thanks H

Number 3: @SJClark91 - mate you're an absolute keeno hockey badger - and I love it. You've no idea how nice it was to see a friendly face on day 1 on the ACP, when I was feeling totally out of my depth.
In at 4: @russellearnshaw - I've loved our 100 mph, idea a second, usually both in different cars, conversations. Whilst no longer formally a mentor, I'll still hopefully be in touch, and be teasing you! Here's one more zoom background:
Number 5: @kellehers07 - whilst at a NAGS camp, and feeling *massive* imposter syndrome, you dragged my over and got ME (why I'll never know) to feedback to your group. To this day I'm sure what I said made no sense, but I'll never forget your welcome, and the opportunity to chat
Next up @cbisbored - you are one of the most authentic humans I've ever met. Loved playing agitator with you, and the feeling that hockey isn't all posh people. How you've stood up to your year has been an inspiration.
Struggling with imposter syndrome was massive for me in ACP - so @katewalsh11 (thanks to Sarah for the intro to ACTUAL KATE RICHARDSON-WALSH
) the 20 mins we spent chatting hockey at LV was insane. Your dedication to learning to be the best coach you could be was an inspiration

Back during a rare sunny day at Lilleshall, @paulcon05 ran a session that got us thinking about who we were. That, and conversations with @CoachRossco on the same day, kicked off a series of reflections that will transform my life, and are why I'm now engaged - not to them though!
We're nearly done folks - don't worry. My penultimate thanks to @MattWay5 and @mrbendudley - working with you has been the first time I've felt truly valued as a coach, and chatting hockey with you both has made me a better coach.
Last - but 100% not least - my two ACP besties @katehporter and @KiranRaichura. I love how we're different enough to really challenge each other, but similar enough for that to be fun, friendly, and constructive
