My theory for the dumdi dumdi mv:
Soyeon's a bandit who just raided a place (explains the luggage full of cash), but then her getaway car broke down in the middle of nowhere so she decided to lay low in a motel nearby. When she arrived, she got to meet (1/7) @G_I_DLE #DUMDiDUMDi

all these pretty ladies who just so happen to be gathered there. Seeing how mundane and boring their lives were, she decides to be their sugar mommy for a day and spice things up by throwing them a party they'll never forget. Throughout this day the girls got to live an (2/7)

alternate version of themselves (drastic outfit change), Soyeon, a rebel of society, came into their lives like a force of nature, opening them up to the possibility of sth more, shedding their past modesty and inhibitions, they got to experiment and explore in a carefree (3/7)

manner. However, this bubble of fantasy comes crashing down on them (quite literally) as the night was nearing, none of the girls wanted to let go of this momentary freedom, they want to hold on to this version of themselves and confinue to live boldly without limits (4/7)

(explains why the girls look kinda sentimental during the bridge) They looked up at the sky wishing for a miracle so this night could last forever, but they know wishing stars dont actually work so in order to make their wish come true, they had to look for another way. (5/7)

Suddenly it dawned on them, the perfect way to end all this. The girls hv decided to do a ritual as a means to attain this impossible dream of theirs. They sacrificed the white man in the mv as a symbol to topple the patriarchy and did a ritualistic dance around the fire. (6/7)

Alas the ritual worked and they got to live in this Utopian summer dreamscape happily ever after, the end. (7/7)
