Me personally, my purchasing power plummeted, free fall like this. You know when last we buy peak milk for my house? nobody told us to go for cheaper alternatives. The hand writing was bold on the wall; WE COULDNT AFFORD IT.
Basic household stuff we used to buy without flinching, now we dey struggle. Now I am practically on everybody's neck about curbing wastages. if I see something as little as sachet water wey person no even finish and left it like that I dey shout.
rn there's so many stuff we used to buy that we can no longer afford. A few weeks ago we had to restrict 'midnight cooking' to just noodles or bread; like if you still dey hungry after we don chop dinner, you can only make noodles or eat bread.
sometimes I see something we are doing wrong and I want to complain but then asking people who have lived the first 30 years of their lives in relative comfort to start making adjustments is really tasking. But then I always find a way to tell them; we really have no choice.
