Whats happening in South Africa right now, cause literally nobody is talking about it.

JUST in 2017/2018:
2,930 ADULT women were murdered, and many more children. That means a woman was murdered every 4 hours.

Six-year-old Nathlia Pienaar died after she was struck in the head by a bullet while skipping a rope outside her HOME.

Lynette Volschenk was found chopped up in her apartment.

And the South African boxing champion, Leighandre Jegels, was shot dead by her police officer boyfr.

The body of Sibongideni Gabada was found in a SHACK. The suspect was her boyfriend. She was missing for 2 weeks before her body was found. When she was found, her boyfriend was arrested, but days later, the senior public prosecutor dropped the case, leaving the supsect free.

The last straw was when the body of a 19-year-old missing University student in Cape Town, Uyinene Mrwetyana was discovered. She disappeared ln Aug 24 on her way to collect something at the post office.

Women live in fear in South Africa. They don't know if their boyfriend might kill them, or a police officer, or a stranger.
Enough is enough, stop femicide.

Protests are happening, but they get shut down.

I live in South Africa. This shouldn't be a worry in our lives, if we're going to be killed or not.
