Since Rihanna has refused to give us an album in 4 years.  Here is a thread of her songs that are evergreen. Songs that you'll always enjoy regardless of the number of times you've listened to it.
1. “Umbrella” (feat. Jay-Z) (2007)
Personally, I grateful that Britney Spears's label turned down this song because it changed everything and transformed Ri into a pop superstar. It ended up being Rihanna’s first Grammy win. The song is still a beautiful piece of music till date.
2. “FourFiveSeconds” (with Paul McCartney, Kanye) (2015)
McCartney in 2015 found himself collaborating with Ri & Kanye on “FourFiveSeconds.” a song Kanye spearheaded. Built around Paul’s acoustic guitar, “FourFiveSeconds” is arguably one of the best songs in Rihanna's catalog.
3.   "Take a bow" (2008)
Take a bow was the lead single off the Good Girl Gone Bad: Reloaded project released in 2008 written by Stargate and Ne-Yo. The song made Billboard history by leaping from Number 53 to Number One in a single week. It was a clear sign that Rihanna wasn’t
going anywhere for a long time until she decided to take a long break and leave us all in the dark.
4."Kiss it better" 2016
In late 2014, Rihanna sparked speculation that her 8th album was on its way when she posted a short video of her then-guitarist Nuno Bettencourt on Instagram; he was laying down a catchy solo over a recording of her singing “kiss it, kiss it better, baby"
While it would be more than a year before Anti would arrive, the song was one of the Album's most satisfying swerved and it still is.
"What's my name" ft Drake 2010
One good thing we got from Rihanna’s on-off relationship with Drake is his verse on this Number One hit. “Drake is the hottest rapper out right now and we’ve always been trying to work together,” Rihanna told Billboard that year.
6. "Stay" ft Mikky Eko 2012
“Stay” is arguably one of Riri's most emotionally provocative performances to date. Mikky Ekko served as Riri's perfectly matched duet partner as they detail the two sides of a pair fighting to keep a relationship together.
Advert: Check out this nice song by @Synapsethegreat. I promise you'll love it http://Fanlink.to/DbSyn
“Don’t Stop the Music” (2007)
I love this song cos It’s a global dance-pop smash, that hits a high point referencing a vocal line from a 1983 MJ's classic “Wanna Be Startin’ Somethin'” that was itself a reference to an early-Seventies jam from (Manu Dibango’s “Soul Makossa).
8. “Love on the Brain” (2016)
Rihanna told Kanye in a 2010 chat Interview. “I think a lot of people have a misperception of me, They only see the tough, defensive, aggressive side. But every woman is vulnerable. So of course I’m going to have that side.” This song did the job!
