why is it so easy to tear other people down? why do we have this underlying belief that we are superior? if you’re against someone because of their race/gender/ethnicity/class/caste then you’re moving in the wrong direction and your life will always be blinded by hatred. (3/n)
it’s incredibly easy to pass judgement on those who are diff from us, & even those who are alive. we do it every day countless number of times consciously/subconsciously. if you’re starting w the premise that ur better than someone & ur experience is more valid. rethink. (4/n)
my childhood was in michigan, my highschool+ years spent in delhi/bombay. it was a complete culture shock. i was miserable & disgusted. don’t get me wrong i hate the country i live in, i hate that i am who i am. this disgust is rooted in shame & discriminatory class/caste systems
