here are my thoughts before i explode: i truly don’t believe that emdras wants to tell bipoc stories, i actually never believed it. she can constantly say that she’s trying or that she wants to but at the end of the day, intention is not impact.

rosita, kate, dolls and jeremy have all been villianized and for what? kate and rosita have been portrayed as the “other woman” to wyndoc. why? they both have shown nothing but selflessness in order to save wynonna and the group

dolls is portrayed as an emotionless and cold man,, often how black men in media are portrayed when he is the complete opposite. he had only shown wynonna love and support throughout her pregnancy and was patient with her when doc was around

i watched for years as fans bully and harass shamier for reason,, often wishing dolls would be killed off and it happened. i think the only time emdras did listen was when shamier voiced how HE wanted to exit the show.

jeremy is the embodiment of s1 waverly YET waves was loved as this cute small angel but when an indian man is the EXACT same way, he’s annoying all of the sudden. why?

i’ve watched y’all HATE and be vicious to these actors. y’all wanted to fight rosita for kissing waverly when was imitated the kiss. y’all wanted dolls to die bc he wanted to love wyn. y’all wanted kate to leave bc she wanted to love doc. y’all hated jeremy for acting cutesy.

i don’t know why i feel like all these characters were made to fail. emdras had the capacity to protect these actors from the hate they’re received but chose not too. she could’ve made these characters great and not throw toys for the main characters

you’re absolutely lying to me when you say she’s trying,, she had four characters to try but chose not to. and for what cheap story telling? rachel/valdez could’ve been an amazing storyline and addition to the group BUT it’s misguided and completely is off

since s3 they’ve hyped and told us “valdez is a mayan warrior princess” immediately we think “omg a strong and powerful character! yay rep!” but no. this isn’t not hate to martina but they miscasted her. valdez died before even getting a CHANCE of screen time.

i think it will be interesting to watch valdez’s memory live through rachel but still.. martina is filipino not mayan. valdez isn’t rep anymore she’s just a memory bc she was killed even before she got to say anything.

i love these characters immensely and i hurts my heart to see them be treated so poorly by a majority of the fandom. it makes me question by worth as a fan sometimes. like genuinely what did all do wrong for y’all just to hate them? i’m curious
