Part (1/2)-
#UCLfantasy is just a few days a way, I’ll be looking at 5 top captain picks for those who didn’t © Illicic 😢

Retweet if it is helpful! ♻️
Part 2 comes tomorrow!

***Friday Games***
⚫️Sandro⚪️
Sandro is well owned among the UCL player base, yet most will-
not think of him as a captain option. This makes Sandro a prime differential to help climb the ranks. Lyon having not played a competitive match in a while adds value to him as a CS is more viable and attacking returns are also plausible. While not common, Sandro does have-
the ability to score a goal or get an assist which will boost you even further up the ranks. Averaging 4.6 recovered balls a game, he has potential to gain points from that as well. All of this adds up, and 12 points doesn’t seem that unlikely.
⚫️Ronaldo⚪️
If you want to defend your rank, Ronaldo is the captain option for you. If in top 100, he may also help you with a green arrow due to the mass Illicic captainers. An out of form Lyon means a goal fest is surely likely for Juve with Ronaldo leading it. 31 goals in-
Serie A alone and 5 in his last match makes him an outstanding choice. His goals come from 6.3 shots per game in UCL which just adds on to why he should be captained. This is all unsurprising, just thought to give some actual facts and not just say he’s a good pick like some.
🔵City Attacker🔵
With just looking at this fixture, you may want to avoid captaining anybody from these two teams. But at a closer glance, City strikers are actually a reliable decision. With Ramos out due to a red card, a bit of a hole is left in Madrid defense where City-
can exploit. In fact, the Blues have scored 102 goals this season, almost as much as their record breaking year with a 100 points. Madrid have only got 25 GA, but 4 in their last three. This puts the spotlight on players like Raheem Sterling who has had a bit of a revival-
since the restart and has had 9 goals in the Prem since. He has also shown to be explosive in UCL scoring 4 in one MD! 2 assists and 2 pens earned is included in his point tally. Other City attackers by the likes of Mahrez or Jesus could prove to be good as well.
❌Avoid City-Madrid and Barca-Napoli ❌

Let’s be real here, I don’t see large amounts of goals- actually wait, screw it. This thread is long enough here are some basic stats.

Past 5 matches*
Barcelona-
GA:3
GF:12

Napoli-
GA:6
GF:6

RM-
GA:4
GF:9

City-
GA:1
GF:18
Make your own conclusions from that. But, I think the Barca- Napoli game will be tight with Napoli pushing to do well to recover from a bad season. So really only Messi would be an okay option IMO. In the City game- I see just Man City attackers doing well with 18 goals from 5!
Overall in this thread, I was not trying to give you these crazy picks for captain. I just wanted to provide a few options and give evidence to hopefully help you choose!

Stay tuned for the next part of this thread based on Saturday games! #FPLCommunity #UCLfantasy
