Here’s How You Check Comps using the EBay App

Step 1 - Launch the EBay App then locate and tap the Camera Icon on the top right side of the Search Bar

Step 1 - Launch the EBay App then locate and tap the Camera Icon on the top right side of the Search Bar
Step 2 - With phone camera launched locate the barcode on product packaging. Scan barcode by pointing the camera at it.
(Note, if there is no barcode or if scan doesn’t work, manually input the product name & style number if available into the search bar)

Step 3 - The scan will pull up the page with all the current listings for your item.
Locate the “Filter” button on the upper right side of the Search Bar and tap the Filter button

Step 5 - Find “Sold Items” and toggle it on so it turns blue.
Then click on the page behind the filter window.

Step 6 - The page with the Sold Items and dates is now up.
Notice the sale price, sale date and if the shipping was free to the customer.
Here you’ll scroll down checking the sale prices of recent listings to determine the average sale price

Step 7 - If you determine that the product seems profitable enough by crunching the numbers
Go back to the filter button and slide the SOLD button off so that the current listings come back up.
Once the current listings are up evaluate the current listing prices & competition
