like i read through the comments today of groups like zsl, zst, mrwc, sct, uss, basta the like. and when there are posts about being ghosted, being judged as a friend (which is getting awfully repetitive) the comments are always between friends right?
i’ve seen a couple of “[name] replied: Unahan mo kase” “[name] replied: Kaya dapat may back-up ka” and ewan ko man para lang saken hindi naman ata tama yon??? kahit sabihin na joke-joke lang skfjfjdjf
narereinforce yung ganyang dating culture sa age group natin eh, we keep joking about this pero we don’t know naiinternalize na natin because
1.) we don’t understand why we get hurt for those common reasons
2.) we subconscipusly think we deserve to inflict the same pain back++

++ at someone who is as innocent as us so as to get “even” with how the world is treating us. or so we can “fulfill” our purpose sa mundo na maging gago kasi feel natin tinutulak na tayo ng buhay in that direction
sisters and brothers, go to therapy. get help. or mangausap nalang kayo ng kahit sinong makikinig jan. bago tayo-tayo lumandi ulit. wag natin sanang gawing trivial jokes yung mga exact same things that already hurt us.
wala namang masama sa pag-amin na nasaktan na tayo. when we make jokes like that, we not only trivialize and invalidate our own experiences, but we also automatically deny the possibility of a healthy relationship stemming from our otherwise healthy mindsets.
you did not and will never deserve the pain inflicted onto you, but remember that no one else in the world deserves it as much as you think it’s healthy to inflict that energy back into the world.

late addition: this line from bojack horseman fits well into this thread. by trivializing your struggles into mere material for humor and relatability with other fellow “sawi” peers, you become nothing but sawi. sad. forever bitter. don’t do that 2 yourself homies ily all
