Because on a basic personality level, they& #39;re almost opposites.

So I imagine their interactions go like this:

This is weird for several reasons.

1) I& #39;m pretty sure JGY, of all people, knows that LWJ wasn& #39;t fooled by WWX.
2) JGY says this immediately and with no prompting from anyone else.
So why would he offer LWJ an opportunity to dissociate from WWX? As always that answer is LXC. Lol.

LXC is going to look after his brother before anyone else, even before JGY. If JGY wants to stay in Er-ge& #39;s good graces, he& #39;s got to make sure Hanguang-jun escapes unharmed.
JGY does it again during his confrontation with LXC in Cloud Recesses.
Anway, that& #39;s a longwinded way of saying that the dynamic between JGY and LWJ is kind of bizarre, since LXC is the only thing they have in common. JGY is obligated to save the life of a man who it would be much more convenient to kill.
