Here is the thread for my #PowerRangersBinge! Inspired by the likes of @SentaiFive, @LivingRangerKey, and @PowerRangersFun.

The plan is to watch 5 episodes and when it comes around, 1 film, per day, with a break every three seasons.
Keep in mind a few things,
-Seasons will not bridge over. If a season has, let's say 2 episodes left, I will begin the next season the next day, when ever that may be.
-I have a different order of episodes than what Netflix & The DVDs have. So don't @ me. Most are fillers anyway
(continued)
-I will label each episode by season, and episode number (I.e, Episode 1101 is "Prelude To A Storm".
-Each episode post will consist of who wrote & directed it, my initial thoughts, my favorite screencap, and my favorite line(s).
(continued)
-At the end of each season, I will gather my thoughts, give you favorites & dislikes
-Like @SentaiFive, I will create "moments". That way, you can view my thoughts on each season separately.
-At the end of all this, I will release my definitive ranking
This will be the first time I'll be watching the series in full sequencial order. Some seasons I haven't seen since they've been out, so it will be fun to see if my opinions change or not.

Hope you all join me for this journey into The Morphin' Grid.
"ITS MORPHIN TIME!"

My #PowerRangersBinge begins with, what else, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Season 1!
101-Day Of The Dumpster
Written By Tony Oliver ( @TonyOliverVA) & Shuki Levy
Directed By Adrian Carr ( @ADRIANCARR01)

Nothing much to say other than it was the first episode of the series. It does its job and does it as is expected.

"No! Not that! Not teenagers!" - Alpha 5
102-High Five
Written By Steve Kramer
Directed by Adrian Carr ( @ADRIANCARR01)

Trini's character was good here, despite how early it is, and the music for when they were fighting "Giant" was cool.

"That was 'morphdocous', Trini." - Billy
103-Teamwork
Written By Cheryl Saban ( @csaban)
Directed By Robert Hughes

It was alright. Nice way to get their weapons I guess. Who doesn't block off an industrial waste site?

"Ai Yi Yi! Dudettes in trouble! Dudettes in trouble!" - Alpha 5
104-A Pressing Engagement
Written By Jeff Deckman & Ronnie Sperling ( @RonnieSperling)
Directed By Adrian Carr ( @ADRIANCARR01)

So the way to help Jason is to activate crystals that already exist.

Okay!

"Why don't you guys have a piece of cake, and chill? - Zack
105-Different Drum

You could tell this was one of the first episodes completed in the way it was filmed and edited. Also, Gray Ranger.

"Are you done with that monster? The stress is putting a strain on my natural beauty! - Rita
106-Food Fight
Written By Cheryl Saban ( @csaban)
Directed By Robert Hughes

An absolute classic! Although that food fair was a bit racist.

"We have to save the Food Fair!" - Trini
107-Big Sisters
Written By Shuki Levy & Gary Glasberg
Directed By Jeff Renier

That was awful. Everything about it was. The obviously dubbed girl, the Power Eggs we never hear about again, and the Radbug. That looked awful, even back then.

"I HATE those guys." - Rita
108-Switching Places
Written By Shuki Levy & Steve Kramer
Directed By Jeff Renier

David Yost & Amy Jo Johnson SHINE LIKE GOLD in this episode. Their portrayals of each other were awesome.

"Billy....like I mean Kimberly....like....uhh." - Kimberly
109-I, Eye Guy
Written By Stewart St. John
Directed By David Blyth

What is it with dubbed children? Also, Willy looks like a kid from the 1920s with that dumb hat.

"I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I............................" - Eye Guy every 3 seconds.
110-Foul Play In The Sky
Written By Shuki Levy

It has it all! Drugged uncles, snakes voiced by Hal, and Kimberly not knowing how to fly a plane despite her Zord being a flying dinosaur!

"Do something, Skull! I'm too young & beautiful to die!"
111-For Whom The Bell Trolls
Written By Jeff Deckman, Ronnie Sperling ( @RonnieSperling) & Stewart St. John

Ehh. Never liked this one. Also, random Japanese kid.

"I have some more collecting to do." - Mr. Ticklesneezer
112-Happy Birthday, Zack
Written By Stewart St. John
Directed By Robert Hughes

Again, another pre-completed episode. Very strange editing and musical scores. Knasty Knight looked awesome.

"That's.....messed...up!" - Zack
113-No Clowning Around
Written By Mark Hoffmeier
Directed By Adrian Carr

Classic. Pineapple was kid-friendly Pennywise, and another dubbed child.

"You're going down, clown!" - Jason
114-Power Ranger Punks
Written By Mark Hoffmeier

David Yost & Amy Jo Johnson shine once more! You could tell they had a lot of fun doing this episode.

"Let's say, on Saturday night, we'll TEAR UP THE TOWN?!?" - Punk Kimberly
115-Peace, Love & Woe
Written By Julianne Klemm

Nice Billy episode, but Marge ruined it. Sounded like she was 40, and looked like she came off the set of Are You Afraid Of The Dark? .

"That's a CAPItol idea!" - Marge
116-Dark Warrior
Written By Jeff Deckman, Ronnie Sperling ( @RonnieSperling) & Mark Hoffmeier
Directed By Terence H. Winkless

Uhh......alright, I guess? Lame monster, and lame plot. Also, what is it with these dubbed over voices? Jeezus

"Oh no. Uncle Howard." - Trini
117-Green With Evil Part 1: Out Of Control

"Well, excuse me for living!" - Kimberly
119-Green With Evil Part 3: The Rescue

Even as a kid, I found this part to be my least favorite. Its kinda boring TBH.

"Go Putty Patrol, and attack the Power Rangers!" - Synced Scorpina
120-Green With Evil Part 4: Eclipsing Megazord
Written By Stewart St. John & Cindy McKay
Directed By Robert Hughes

Bulk & Skull's best stuff in this season yet, and the Rangers at their lowest point is great to see.

Quote on next tweet.
"Isn't the smallest chance of victory, enough of a reason for us to keep fighting? The world needs us Rangers!" - Jason
121-Green With Evil Part 5: Breaking The Spell

An end to this mini-arc that made the series explode in popularity! Glad everyone's just okay with Tommy joining right away.

"No-way!" - Not Tommy
122-The Trouble With Shellshock
Written By Julianne Klemm & Stewart St. John

Squatt & Baboo get in on the action. Neato. Would have made a nice Jason & Trini focus.

"What are we going to do with a turtle that has a traffic light on his head?" - Squatt
123-Itsy Bitsy Spider

Pretty neat Zack episode. Also, a child that isn't dubbed! Thank god.

What was the point of this, any why did Tommy have a Blade Blaster holster?

"Daisies, ahh?" - Rita

Directed By Robert Hughes

Power Rangers VS Frankenstein. Awesome.

"It's time for molecular transmutation!"-Billy as Sherlock Holmes
126-Gung Ho!
Written By Mark Hoffmeier

Yawn. Very on the nose with the title, and weapons that are used for 30 seconds, and never mentioned, or used again. Also, too many action scenes for its own good.

"Work together! Gung Ho!" - Everyone
127-Island Of Illusion Part 1
Written By Shuki Levy & Chris Schoon
Directed By Terence H. Winkless

Zack's a bit out of character here, but it was nice to see Tommy with the main team for more than 3 minutes!

"See Finster, I made my own monster and its winning!" - Rita
128-Island Of Illusion Part 2
Written By Shuki Levy, Stewart St. John & Chris Schoon

Aside from Trini, everyone's fear made no sense. Kim's is Bulk & Skull being nice? Why?

Everything that came out of his mouth-Quagmire
129-Wheel Of Misfortune
Written By Cheryl Saban ( @csaban) & Mark Ryan

Why was this an episode? Why did they need to have an antique spinning wheel? Why was Zordon's voice different for 2 seconds?

"My grandmother's spinning wheel! - Kimberly
130-Calamity Kimberly

"Bulk & Skull should have their own TV show!" - Tommy
131-A Star Is Born

A really lame commercial, Tommy was wasted, and I forgot Scorpina was a thing.

"Timmy P's Real Brand Mayonaise.....MMMMM"-Barber Shop Quartet

"Goonie Bird Eggs!" - Fang Every 30 Seconds
133-The Green Candle Part 1

Nothing says "Tommy is done" like having him captured for the 100th time and having his powers linked to a candle we never heard about before.

"WHAT candle?!" - Tommy
134-The Green Candle Part 2
Written By Gary Glasberg & Stewart St. John
Directed By Robert Hughes

Ohh! Suspenseful stuff, and I'm not being sarcastic either!

"If I leave now, Tommy will lose his powers!" - Jason
"If we don't leave now, he'll lose his life!" - Zack
135-The Rockstar

Miss Tommy? Too bad. Enjoy Jason's awfully dubbed cousin.

"lOOks lIKe a mAP!" - Dubbed Jeremy
136-Birds Of A Feather

Yay! Suspense! Zords being buried! Goldar having his own Megazord! Rita having no chill!

"I want to go to this party! Can I bring Swedish Meatballs?" - Baboo
140-Doomsday Part 2
Written By Stewart St. John
Directed By Terence H. Winkless

If this was the end, it would have been good. Most shows, at the time, with this many planned episodes, never got a proper finale.

"The world is very lucky to have you, and so am I." - Zordon
141-A Pig Surprise
Written By Shuki Levy & Douglas Sloan ( @vrdjs143)

Reused Zyuranger footage, and a lady with odd glasses. Kind of a nothing episode.

Also, the premiere of Wasserman fight songs!

"Norman, ignore me!" - Bulk
142-Lions & Blizzards
Written By Shell Danielson
Directed By Robert Hughes

A bit too much happening, and a bit too confusing. Why does Zack have a bandage around his glove? 😉😜

"Who taught you how to drive?" - Bulk
"Noone! How am I doing?" - Skull
145-Something Fishy
Written By Cheryl Saban ( @csaban)

Zyu2 arrives, and this episode convinces me that Billy may be on the spectrum.

"Hey, Bulk! You caught a No Fishing sign! How did they know you were fishing today?" - Skull
