Very upset by this situation. Conte was beginning to win me over, in terms of the squad he wanted & the football he was going to play. It’s impossible to disagree with lot of the things he said & a lot of it was just deflection. But mainly it was the timing & manner that ->
really was so wrong & quite frankly infantile.
Nonetheless, no one can take away that he managed to do some thing we haven’t seen at Inter for a decade: building a group & a team spirit where these players will all but die for him & each other.
Tactically he is undoubtedly->
Hands down a world class coach, not to mention preparation, mental strength & desire. There can be doubt about that. After Mourinho no coach at Inter has CRAVED winning like him.
He’s laid the foundation ir an embryo that with a good Marotta mercato (disregard Skriniar exit)

could have next season become quite the team. But the more interviews he did last night, the more it became clear how deeply disappointed & betrayed he felt. This wasn’t heat of the moment stuff albeit delivered with classic Conte accumulative anger the more interviews he did, ->
But that he felt genuinely disappointed & for lack of a better word betrayed.
And he was very clear that this had nothing to do with lack of signings, whilst repeating how badly he wants a meeting with Steven Zhang face to face.
At this point it seems that Steven Zhang is the ->
only person that can calm this situation down, if it can be salvaged at all.
And the worst part is: Steven Zhang has been stuck in China due to travel restrictions following the pandemic.
Yet another perfect storm brewing again at Inter where there are no winners.
