Frank & Lying: an ongoing analysis
All I beg of you all is one thing: please do not tag Frank in this. Idk how I would feel about him reading all this & simply am not down to be blocked for calling him a liar.
Disclaimer: I love Frank to death, but I also don't buy it for a second that he is honest to the public all the time. This is speculation for legal purposes, but from what I can gather is that he loves lying in order to get what he wants & he's done this for decades.
In this essay he wrote for his English homework in 1999, he discovered he needed to lie in order to get his interview he needed for his homework. “how could I hold their attention, and get them to take me seriously? I would lie!” https://twitter.com/DrFrankenIero/status/1255579531915808769?s=20
Key line: "That's why the secret to a good lie is keep to it, never give up on it, even if it gets so big that you can't remember where you started, you must plunge forward and even try to incorporate amnesia in to the lie." https://twitter.com/DrFrankenIero/status/1255562104246960128?s=20
Good lies to him are the ones you act like you believe in yourself and even try to give yourself amnesia about it. He knows the power of lying really well.
"I pride myself in being able to spot a bullshitter, & whenever a person gets up in front of other people & opens up there is a little fear, & with fear comes honesty. It disgusts me when people will stand up and lie through their teeth about themselves, and I can always tell"
Frank only knows how to identify liars because he lies a lot. A liar knows a liar. Frank is also out here having Catcher in the Rye as his favorite book. It ends with the line that telling the truth to others will hurt you in the end.
Mr. Bookworm hands loves signing this particular page of Catcher in the Rye, regardless who asks him. He'll always pick this page & underline this line. The book The Catcher in the Rye is about a kid who considers himself a failure & breaks down over it. https://twitter.com/DrFrankenIero/status/1290032810716090369?s=20
This quote means something to him too & he has never explained the meaning publicly. The consensus of book analysts is "The kid fears sharing his feelings with anyone; he has developed a protection strategy, don't get close to anyone and you are safe." https://twitter.com/DrFrankenIero/status/1290034963732021248?s=20
If we go by what book analysts say and assume Frank interprets this line in the same way, then not sharing things about himself is how he keeps himself safe and protected.
Note, I'm reading Spark Notes & help websites & I didn't read this book in high school. I know this isn't the most reliable source. But, I might pick up a copy while in quarantine. This is meant to be an ongoing thread, anyway.

We know he & the rest of mcr has been lying to us about the reunion since 2017 as seen in this ss. I also shouldn't have to mention every single video he lies in post 2017, but I'll think about it if I can track them down.
We also know this guy is FT Willz by these screenshots, but he doesn't address it https://twitter.com/DrFrankenIero/status/1289869757911465986?s=20
He also lied saying Gerard married before him, but his tattoo says February 5th, 2007 and F celebrates his anniversary on this day. https://twitter.com/DrFrankenIero/status/1289832078347927552?s=20
Reading his essay: Brave New Words, he believes a couple of things: Children are impressionable. Reading is the key to learning, however, listening plays a role.
"I would pick up words from other people, discover their meaning from context clues & use them in my own vocabulary." He knows a thing or two on word analysis & likely incorporates it in his writing process.
I'm not saying you should always overthink what he has to say, but this is my reasoning as to why I take everything he has to say with a grain of salt.

If I find anything else, I'll add it to this thread later, which could be in hours, or even in months.
