The institutional freak out over @Sethrogen making a pretty basic statement about Israel that a lot of young Jewish people agree with is so weird to me, but I guess it’s easier than grappling with the fact that it’s not just him but an entire generation moving in this direction

Like say some Jewish Agency bigwig did get Rogen on the phone and got him to walk something back. You can’t do that with every single young Jew who feels that way, and the hectoring that’s happening now just sends the message we aren’t welcome in our own communities

The future of the Jewish community is gonna include young progressive Jews, Jews of Color, and non-Zionists. Get onboard or get left behind.
