Okay so we know Yams loves sum good ol' norse mythology references and I noticed some interesting coincidences in the myths refering to the god Balder, harbinger of the Ragnarok

I'm no meta writer so allow me to scribble my way into a very compressed retelling
Certain elements in the tone such as being the precious baby of the Gods, the "undefeatable" status they granted him, and his connection to his dreams are suspicious as... Hel 😎

ps. (some sources cite Baldr as the God of Innocence)
Loki's chaotic nature and deprivation of freedom next to his defiance of the other Gods feels too juicy to ignore an Eren parallel. There's also Hodr's responsability despite his lack of intention.

...Funny how one refusal to cry over his death is what dooms BaldrđŸ€”
Baldr's death is taken as the main detonant for the Ragnarok, and the fun prediction stuff imply he's gonna come back to take over Odin's spot once the world begins anew.

and I mean I ain't complaining Baldr seems like a pretty cool dude 👀
I'm aware it's likely that Isayama's inspiration isn't this literal but shhh lemme nerd out

and since the end of the manga is close I figured wHY NOT, let's fuel those theories đŸ”„
