Time to time I get mad at the fact I accepted I wasn’t college material - because of a few kids who would call me dumb and my counselor at the time who said “do yoU eVeN wAnt to Go tO CoLlege?”

Ahh it makes me so upset.! Also I don’t know who needs to hear this but go wherever tf you want/ can afford for college. I got caught up with my institution “not being prestigious” and honestly i hate that I did that. Like I was brainwashed thinking lower acceptance —>

Rate equated to success. Please to those younger than me don’t let that impact you. And if someone is still on your butt for not going to some Ivy League - know they have a superiority complex or smth around that.... please know you are doing enough!

And this thread isn’t meant to bash on those at Ivy Leagues lol- congrats to those accepted!! -just don’t be a$$holes to those not. There’s so much that goes into acceptances- your entire educational foundation, trauma, parents $$ to a certain extent, and luck :)

Please go where you think is best for you and don’t bring other individuals down in the process. We’re all tryna succeed and have stuff going on in life- pettiness shouldn’t be an additional factor - xoxo
