What is happening in Mexico because sadly i don’t see many talking about this. A thread:
Femicide. Femicide or feminicide is a sex-based hate crime term, broadly defined as "the intentional killing of females (women or girls) because they are females”.
The usual age for this is 25 years old but again men don’t care, the oldest woman to be killed was 80 years old and the youngest was A ONE YEAR OLD
Just last month 103 women were killed
36 were killed in their own house, 60 in public and 1 in her own job

Something that also happened in july 2020 that i didn’t know about was a cop in Zacatecas abused of a citizen. He made her give him all her personal information and then r*ped her. Authorities are protecting the cop right now.

In march women made protests and men just called them exaggerated
heads have been found in plastic bags, bodies have been found hidden and abused.
This is just a little bit of all mexico in where girls have been found dead
In march women all over mexico stayed home and didn’t use social media to simulate how life would be without women. Men were the only ones at work/school
Very few men took it seriously. Most did not. They said things such as “men could be happier without women than women without men”

Men all over said it was the girls fault because “she was wearing a dress”, “she was out very late at night” etc.. so women made a song about that it didn’t matter where they were or what they were wearing it was the killers fault.
One of the cases i want to talk about is Fatima, she was 7 years old when she was murdered. What were you doing at 7 years old?

This case makes me so fucking angry. This sweet girl was called Ingrid. She was BRUTALLY MURDERED. And the pictures of her body were all over the Internet. Which is so sick. This son of a bitch was trying to hide it but police found insides and skin all over the house
August started yesterday and so did the first case of murder in this month.
Just because it’s not happening where you live it doesn’t make it any less important. There’s so many people in the fandom that are from Mexico what if your favorite mutual never tweeted again? And you didn’t even know she was murdered.

Now human trafficking: teenagers are sold into prostitution rings. it's so common that telenovelas have showcased this issue many times before. but that's not all. many times, children are kidnapped, sold, and killed for their organs. and drug cartels profit off of them.
