monsta x and wonho jokes that shouldn’t be made; a very necessary thread

1. kihyun isn’t short and he certain doesn’t like it when people make fun of his height. he is also not the ‘mom’ or ‘eomma’ of the group. he said multiple times that it makes him feel uncomfortable so stop it.

2. shownu isn’t emotionless. calling him a r*bot and making fun of it is just rude. he used to practice his facial expressions in the mirror bcs he was insecure about it. stop it.

3. hyungwon isn’t a meme. he’s talented and super sweet so please, when a non-mbb asks you abt hyungwon, tell them how amazing of a singer and dancer he is. the joke is stupid and old so its time for you guys to put some respect on his name.

4. hyungwon isn’t lazy. he works hard everyday. there’s dance practice, concerts, performances, award shows, variety shows and so much more. he’s a hardworking man so stop calling him lazy every time he rests.

5. changkyun isn’t the s*x demon yall want him to be. it’s not funny to make such jokes. stop sexualizing everything he does. evey single day yall oversexualize EVERYTHING. its horrible and weird. i dont think i have to elaborate on this. just behave. also stop calling him daddy+

in literally every vlive i see comments saying “daddy” or other sexual shit and it gotta stop. he stated before how it makes him feel uncomfortable so pack it up and be horny somewhere else.

- same goes to every member btw, i just see it happen very often with ck in particular

6. minhyuk is not just the ‘mood maker’ of the group. he’s mx’s vocalist, dancer, he’s an amazing MC, artist and overall just so talented. i need you all to start respecting this man as an artist. he’s also not loud, your ears are just sensitive.

7. now idk if people made a joke of this but jooheon has legally changed his name in the past. we don’t know the reasons why and we don’t need to know it since its none of our business. but i need yall to respect his name and not call him by his old one+

it’s extremely disrespectful to call someone by their old name. it’s either lee jooheon or joohoney. nothing else.

this goes out to wonho too. he legally changed his name from shin to lee. so do NOT call him shin hoseok. it’s either lee hoseok or wonho.

8. wonho doesn’t show off his body. he worked extremely hard to get where he is today. he’s not a wh*re so stop calling him that. wonho used to have a very weak immune system so he’d often get sick. he started to go to the gym to work on his health, physically and mentally+

10. this is a very important one. not only to monsta x and wonho, but to all asians:

calling them r*ts is a slur. it’s EXTREMELY offensive and just plain rude. do not say it, it’s not a joke. it’s racist. please call everyone out who says it and educate them.

mbbs usually say that hyungwon is skinny. as someone who has been skinnyshamed in the past is just extremely rude and painful. even the smallest ‘jokes’ can be extremely triggering+

12. monsta x and wonho are native koreans. they try their very best to communicate with international fans using the english language but it seems to me that a lot of u guys see it as an opportunity to joke abt the mistakes they make.

they are trying their best and even wonho is learning english which is extremely hard when you’re at ur end 20s since your brain is fully developed and learning a new language is rlly fucking hard. have some respect and stop making jokes about it.
