2/ The next year, in Sept. 2011, we invited Uighur leader @KadeerRebiya to testify about China's persecution of her people at our We Have A Dream Summit in New York, held in parallel to the U.N.'s Durban 10 meeting. Yet the U.N. refused to act.

5/ At our 3rd Geneva Summit for Human Rights, held in parallel with the UNHRC, we brought Bahtiyar Ömer, a Uighur human rights activist whose wife Gulmire Imin received life in prison for being an “illegal organizer” of the 2009 demonstrations.
8/ Last year at the U.N. Human Rights Council, when the Islamic group of states were silent, we called out China for destroying its Uighur Muslims. China came after us—and tried to shut us down.
9/ Again in June, when China brought in Xinjiang's Vice-Governor to tell the UNHRC that its herding of 1 million Muslims into camps was to “prevent terrorism," Pakistan and all other Islamic states—due to business ties—were silent. But we at UN Watch spoke for the Uighur Muslims.
10/ Last summer, we exposed the official letter by 50 UNHRC reps—including from Muslims states Iran, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Syria, North Korea, State of Palestine, Algeria, Egypt, Somalia—that PRAISED China for locking up 1 million Muslims in camps. https://twitter.com/HillelNeuer/status/1167038932586061824
