HOLY SHIT, I JUST TALKED TO GARY VITTI

Alright boys and girls, storytime of how I met Laker LEGEND Gary Vitti. Thread:

I was walking toward my friend’s house who lives close to me. He happens to be a husky foster and there were two dogs that needed to be walked bc he can’t do it: Lenny (blue-eyed Husky) and Buck (brown Husky). Y’all know my boi (the white Husky). “And we’re the 3 best friends...”

I’m walking toward his house with my boi in my Alex Caruso shirt and I see this bald guy with a beard wearing an older Adidas Lakers practice shirt (I know it’s old bc Nike is the NBA’s supplier now) with his wife, kids, granddaughter in a Power Wheels car, and a dog

The man and his family are across the street and he yells to me “GOOD LOOKING DOG!” I stop and I yell back “THANKS!,” but stopped bc I noticed his shirt. It took me a few seconds to gather my thoughts, but then I recognized that face.

I was SPEECHLESS when I recognized him and he KNEW I recognized him bc he had a smirky smile on his face. This is a Lakers LEGEND we’re talking about here

I stg, I NEVER get starstruck, but I saw that man’s aura like how Charlie Murphy saw Rick James’ aura when he first met him

I started talking to him and started stuttering like how Drake was talking to LeBron or when Woj talks about Lou Williams bc I’m never star-struck like this: “Um, ah ah, um ah ah, are you uh um ah Gary Vitti?”

He said “Yea, I am. You must be a hardcore Lakers fan if you know who I am and bc you’re wearing a @ACFresh21 shirt.”

I was like: “Hell yeah, I am. We miss you. How’s retirement treating you?”

He said: “I love it! I bought my granddaughter a Maserati.” (Points at his granddaughter’s Power Wheels Maserati).

We exchange pleasantries and I don’t even remember what we said bc it felt like a blur bc I was damn near speechless, but yeah, that shit was pretty cool and random. Tip: go near El Segundo/Manhattan Beach/Hermosa Beach during the season when things loosen up. The end
